Mrs. Violet Smith, 95, of Puryear, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born on December 1, 1926 in Gary, IN to the late Charles and Evelyn Parker Kelleher. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Smith. Those she leaves behind include a son, Martin Smith and wife, Donna of Mt. Dora, FL and two daughters, Leslie White and husband, Bryan of Puryear and Sharon Millet of Chesterton, IN; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
