Tammie Marie Hopkins, 59 of Calvert City, Ky passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Tammie was born on February 12, 1966, in Cadiz, Kentucky, the daughter of Elizabeth Welker Fitzhugh.

She was known for her deep and unwavering love for her husband, her children, and especially her beloved grandbabies. Tammie cherished the simple joys in life—a quiet cup of coffee with her husband, watching her grandbabies at their activities, or sharing long, heartfelt conversations with family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and steady presence touched everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 20 years, Henry Hopkins and her loyal dog, Millie May. She is also survived by her children: Mandie (Rodney) Scates, Missy (Ricky) Morrical, Shane Wallace, and Sam Hopkins; and her cherished grandbabies: Madison (Ezra) McElroy, Ally (Logan) Jagers, Caleb Scates, Eli Scates, Colyn Morrical, Paxton Wallace, and Grayson Wallace. And great grandson Walker Jagers. Tammie is also survived by her siblings and many extended family members who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her precious grandbabies; Jessalyn Query and Talon Morrical, and her great-granddaughter, Neriah Query.

A celebration of Tammie's life will be held on May 23, 2026, in Paris, Tennessee. In honor of her memory and her courageous battle, the family asks that donations be made to the cancer charity of your choice.

Her love, laughter, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
