Mrs. Ruby Whisenant, 91, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Spring Creek Healthcare.

Mrs. Whisenant was born to Commodore Orr and Erafrance Paschall Orr on November 10, 1932 in Puryear, TN.  She was of Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. L.B. Duncan, her second husband, Mr. Chelsy Whisenant; a brother, Dewey Orr and a sister, Dorothy Brandon.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her daughter, Pam Cherry (Larry) of Murray; a sister, Barbara Potts of Kirksey; two grandchildren, Lucas Cherry (Krista), Lance Cherry and two great grandchildren, Grace and Brooklyn Cherry.

Mrs. Whisenant will be interred at Murray Memorial Gardens.
