Robyn R. McAllister, 61 of Murray died Monday, April 21, 2014 at her home. Robyn was born November 10, 1952 in California. She became the first commissioned officer in the Kentucky following her involvement with the ROTC program at Murray State University and was a Registered Nurse with Murray Pediatrics for several years. She is survived by her husband, Robert McAllister of Murray; a son, Matthew L. McAllister of Murray; three daughters, Kathryn A. McAllister, Hannah R. McCallister and Kristyn T. McAllister all of Murray and a brother, Peter A. Roney, wife Susan of Kailua, Hawaii. Services are being planned with the downtown Murray chapel of Imes Funeral Home.
