Mr. Robert F. Bourque, 88, of Murray, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at his home.

Bob was born on January 11, 1938 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to the late Valmore and Cecilia Bourque. He grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts and graduated from South Hadley High School having played varsity sports all four years. After high school, he joined the United States Army, Green Berets, and later built a successful career as a land developer which brought his family to Western Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Valmore W. Bourque.

Those he lovingly leaves behind include his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betsy) Bourque; a daughter, Leslie and a son, Robert Bourque, and wife, Phara. In addition, he leaves behind grandchildren, Bret Manning, Bron, Hollis, Canyon and Grierre Bourque, as well as two great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.
