Mrs. Marlys Rae Caylor, 88, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Clemson, South Carolina, at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Caylor was born on July 30, 1935 in North Dakota to the late August and Ella Hoff Eckman.  She was a registered nurse, formerly at Henry County Medical Center and retired with Henry County Health Care Center.  She earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving her include a daughter, Katherine Amirkhanian of Clemson, South Carolina; two sons, Dr. James Caylor of Dyersburg, TN and Paul Caylor of Independence, KY; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
