Mrs. Marcia B. Vaughan, 70, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born on May 16, 1947 in Corinth, Mississippi to the late Marcus Brawner and Dorothy Doyle Brawner. She retired from Murray State University where she worked in the Humanities and Fine Arts Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step son, David Vaughan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim Vaughan of Murray; a son, Michael Smith (Kara) of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Morgan Lawrence (Anthony) of Murray; two step sons, Andy Vaughan (Kristin Batch) of Washington, D.C., Tim Vaughan (Jennifer) of Paducah and several grandchildren.
