Lois Claridge Ruiz, 82, of Murray died on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was born on April 17, 1931 in Cleveland, OH. She was a seamstress at Singer Sewing Center, and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lydia Johann Claridge; husband, John Anthony Ruiz; a son, Edward Scott Sperry; and a brother, Edward Claridge. She is survived by a son, Amos Sperry of Alabaster, AL; a daughter, Kay Odom and husband Edward of Murray; seven grandchildren, Lisa Hill Dodd of Paris, TN, Matthew Hill of Birmingham, AL, Kasey Hill Johnson of Brookville, FL, Carla Sperry of Zephyr Hills, FL, Kerrin Odom of Dade City, FL, Edward Troy Odom of Murray, Kerry Odom Neale of Murray and fifteen great-grandchildren.
