Linda Kay Humphrey, of Benton, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at her home.

Linda was born on February 16, 1950 in Cottage Grove, TN to the late Talmage and Katherine Pace Holden.  She worked as an LPN for Dr. Trevathan until retirement.  Linda was a member of Kirksey Church of Christ.

Mrs. Humphrey loved being outdoors and tending to her flower gardens- this was her happy place!  She adored her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Humphrey and a brother, Dwight Holden.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Tracie Prather (Tim) of Kirksey; grandchildren, Amberlee Bullock, Jered Bullock; bonus grandchildren, Genesee Prather, Gaven Prather, as well as, one great granddaughter, Everleigh Bullock.

The funeral service is set for 1 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Imes Funeral Home.  Josh Herndon will officiate and burial will follow at Stewart Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Tim Prather, Jered Bullock, Gaven Prather, Blake Hedge, Kevin Bullock.

Her family welcomes visitors from 10 am until 1 pm on on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the funeral home.
