Mr. Kirby Lewis Grant, 69, of Mayfield, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Kirby was born on June 13, 1957. His life was filled with love, family, and the friendships he built along the way. He met the love of his life, Terri, in Malden, Missouri, and the two quickly looked forward to beginning a life together. They were united in marriage on March 30, 1985, and began a journey that would be filled with years of love and cherished memories.

Kirby and Terri were excited to start a family of their own, and their children became the center of their world. He was a devoted husband and father who treasured his family above all else. His children, Kyle James Grant and his wife, Megan, and Alexander Kirby Grant, were a source of immense love and pride.

Kirby was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses more than 50 years ago, and his faith was an important part of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Grant; his children, Kyle James Grant and his wife, Megan, and Alexander Kirby Grant; his brother, Willie Grant Sr., of Lilbourn, Missouri; and his sisters, Barbara Nathan of St. Louis and Carolyn Grant of Lilbourn, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Oliver Grant.
