Mrs. Jo Miller, 89, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray. Jo was born on November 5, 1928 in Calloway County to the late Clifton Cavitt and Lucille Woods Cavitt. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James Dale Miller; a brother, James Cavitt; a sister-in-law, Inez Cavitt and a brother-in-law, Billy Paul Howard. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Michael Miller (Sue) of Lexington and Ricky Miller (Martha) of Murray; two sisters, Katherine Howard of Murray and Pam Williamson (Loran) of Twin City, GA; four grandchildren, Mikie Miller of Lexington, Tony Miller (Rhanda) of Murray, Stephanie Kelly (Kevin) of Murray and Josh Miller (Megan) of Nashville; nine great grandchildren, Haley Coles (Bryan), Mattie Miller, Kelsey Hays (Morgan), Kennedy Kelly, Rylie and Karsyn Miller and Avery, Elise and Mae Miller and three great-great grandchildren, Aubrey Jo, Brycen and Claire Coles. The funeral is set for 11 AM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Ricky Miller and Glen Cope will officiate. Burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery. Greg Howard, Joe Dan Taylor, Steve Bailey, Bill Overbey, Donnie Overbey and Kenny Overbey will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Heritage Chapel.
