Mrs. Effie R. Moore, 98, of Murray, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Moore was born to John and Elcie Williams Wright on May 11, 1926 in Green County, Arkansas.  She was a retired Special Education teacher with the Boyd County School District.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Claude Norman Moore; two sons, Michael Gregory Moore and Eugene Wright; three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.

She leaves behind two daughters, Claudette Nelson (Kenneth) of New Concord, Linda Sue Greene of Pensacola, FL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
