Edna E. Scott, 85 of Murray died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Spring Creek Health Care. Edna was born on December 2, 1928 in Trigg County to the late William T. and Ellen W. Rogers Ahart. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by four children, Carolyn Williams and husband Mark of Murray, Johnny W. Scott and wife Kimberly of Murray, Frank W. Scott of Hazel, and Dewey Scott and wife Cindy of DeMott, IN; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Garnie Dewey Scott; two sisters, Cozy Neeble and Clyde Hargrove; and two brothers, Conley Ahart and Thomas Ahart. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Imes-Miller Funeral Home with Bro. John Denham officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
