James "Paul" Spence, 81, of Murray, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mr. Spence was born on January 13, 1934 in Randilett, OK and was of Jehovah Witness faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon and Millie Ann Spence; son, Jerry Paul Spence; brother, Freddy Spence;two sisters, Linda Powell and Ladonna Spence; son in law, Michael Stockwell. Mr. Spence is survived by his wife, Norma Spence, of Murray; one son, Kelly Spence (Kim) of IL.; two daughters, Debbie Ruff and Tracy Stockwell, both of Murray; daughter in law, Sue Spence of IL.; seven grandchildren, James Ruff, Ben Spence, Thomas Spence, Cristal Nuguid, Sidney Stockwell, Cameron Stockwell and Chase Stockwell and five great grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2015, 2 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness, with Bill Stockwell speaking.
