Darrell Edwin Brandon, 89, of Murray died Monday, December 30, 2013 at his home. Mr. Brandon was born in Calloway County on December 22, 1924. He was an U.S. Army veteran Having served in Korea and also a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ. Mr. Brandon is survived by his wife, Hazel Higgins Brandon to whom he was married February 5, 1949. He is also survived by two daughters, Rita Price and husband Richard and Debbie Brandon both of Murray; a son, David Brandon of Murray; a brother, Paul Brandon wife Sue of Murray; two grandchildren, Matthew Price wife Monica of Murray and Whitney Price Jenkins husband Roger of Nashville, TN. and five great grandchildren, Kamden, Kaitlyn, Korbin Price of Murray, Zachary and Olivia Jenkins of Nashville, TN. Mr. Brandon is preceded in death by his parents, Noble Young Brandon and Lucile Humphreys and a brother, Bill Brandon. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Heritage Family Funeral Home. Dan Sykes and Matthew Price will officiate. Burial will follow at the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive visitors between 4:30 and 8:30 PM on Wednesday January 1, 2014.
